Important Remarks

WITHOUT IELTS:

Without IELTS a student is able to get admission into Alexander College if they are already in Canada. But they require a minimum of 1 semester with a GPA of 1.67(C-) or above from a transferable Canadian institution.

If they have not done a transferable English course at the Canadian institution and IELTS is expired, they will be required to do the English Placement Test upon admission.

For your information, here are a couple of reminders and updates.

·         Application fee is C$200 (non-refundable)

·         Tuition fee deposit of C$16,500 for issuance of Letter of Acceptance (LOA)

 

  • IELTS TRF and not the online scores and meeting updated requirements;
    • Minimum 6.0 overall
    • No bands lower than 6.0
  • Associate of Science Degree requirements;
    • Graduation from 12 year compulsory education, or mature student (aged 19+) status, which must include the following course prerequisites:
    • Two of: Biology 12, Chemistry 12, Physics 12
    • Mathematics 12 (B), 72% or higher 
    • If they don’t meet the requirements students should be admitted into the University Transfer Program to meet above requirements.
  • Refunds will only be processed;
    • For study permit refusals
    • With Request for Refund Forms completed
    • And with complete Screen Shots of the whole refusal email showing dates and email addresses
    • And the refusal must be dated after the latest issued LOA
