Pathway Confirmation Letter

City University Canada (CityU)

According to the signed Pathway Agreement between the parties, City University Canada
(CityU) will provide transfer credits to students of Quantum Academy (Quantum) who have
successfully completed the following Diploma:
• Diploma in Hospitality Management
Students graduating with one of the above mentioned Diplomas are eligible for admission to
CityU’s Bachelor of Arts in Management (BAM) program. Students are still responsible for
applying to CityU and meeting program specific admission criteria, including English proficiency,
as set forth in CityU’s General Catalogue.

Transfer Credits Basis

Any student who has completed all the courses contained in the applicable Quantum Diploma
program with a grade of 1.0 (D) or better and has a GPA of 2.0 or better will qualify for the block
transfer credits laid out in the following baseline BAM program plans. They must also complete
all of the BAM courses identified in the baseline program plan for their program with a grade of
1.0 (D) or better and maintain a GPA of 2.0 for the duration of their participation in the BAM
program.
Quantum students who have completed undergraduate studies at other accredited institutions
may qualify for additional transfer credits upon the submission of official transcripts to CityU in
Canada’s Enrollment and Student Success Office. Any such additional undergraduate credits
will be evaluated by the CityU Registrar’s Office and included in the official program plan issued
immediately prior to registration of the student into the BAM.
Quantum students must have successfully earned at least 45 transferrable quarter credits to
satisfy the CityU English language proficiency criterion and qualify for admission to the BAM.

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT CO-OP PROGRAM

The global hospitality industry has turned to the American Hotel & Lodging
Educational Institute (AHLEI) for the best in training and education for all
segments of hospitality.
The Hospitality Management Program offers a first-hand look at most of the
components required for a successful career in the Hospitality industry, students
learn the role of various positions and departments in the hospitality industry
including the details of each department operations and understanding these
departments’ role in a successful Hospitality operation.
